Chelsea Townhouse

A deep retrofit to a Victorian London townhouse, providing warm, comfortable interiors flooded with natural daylight. The building was stripped back to its core, allowing the envelope to be repaired and substantially reduce heat loss through the building fabric and from unwanted draughts. A contemporary double-height glazed extension cuts through the rear of the building, providing views of the sky from the basement. Newly formed open-plan spaces allow free flow of natural ventilation throughout the property and an offer a spacious feeling to promote a sense of wellbeing.
